About my libraryI've catalogued the books I own at the moment. I generally only keep books which I think I will want to refer to or re-read at some point. Anything else I give away or sell, although I often regret it later and end up buying another copy. Also in my library are books which I didn't manage to finish the first time round but haven't entirely given up on.

Understandable! There are ways to combine editions without combining author pages. There are threads on the Combiner's group (like this one) where you can get help doing that.

I'm often surprised at what names belong to multiple authors. I'll see a very unusual surname combined with an author and think, "oh, it doesn't matter, no one else could possibly have that name", and then I do a search and find a half-dozen people sharing it!
