About meI love reading but in addition I love everything about books from the cover art, to the wonderful smell of books and the glorious sight of a line of books on a bookshelf - heaven!

About my libraryMy library can be pretty mixed though I'd guess that what might be called "contemporary fiction" is the most common by some distance - but there are also detective stories, historical novels, thrillers, lots of biographies especially of politicians and sportsmen and quite a lot of poetry.
I also love the physical space of my library - I'm surrounded by bookcases on three sides in my study which is great whether I'm working at my desk or sitting on the sofa watching TV or listening to music in here!
