About meI enjoy jumping into a new book!

I'm a Social Psychology major (which should explain a majority of my books). I definitely own books on all the topics I'm interested in... except maybe a few that have yet to summon my presence.

You can find out more about me on my blog...

Hey Cora!

It was great to hear from you, I hope all is well with you. Things have been quite busy for me but I was partially laid off for the summer so I have a little more time :P. I will be checking out your blog, take care!

April
Hi Cora...just hoping all is well with you! be safe out there :)

Hey Cora, just saw your LT page :) You disappeared from the Bookmooch forum, I'm glad to see you are around though :)

Hi Cora,
Thanks for stopping by to check on the progress of my library. I confess I haven't been on here in a couple of weeks - too much else going on, including going to Balticon (literary science fiction con) and buying more books! The only one I have put on my list so far th' is Bad-Ass Faries, a collection of short stories. I have something like 150 to 200 more books to add, and I might get to them this weekend. I really want to catalog my music and movies too, I am just not sure if that is a big no-no, or if nobody really cares. What is your opinion? Talk to ya later, Connie (Looks4hawks)
Hi Cora, thanks a lot for your friendship, your points, your beautiful quote and everything. It's been nice finding you here at LThing and at Bookcrossing too!

Love and blessings

Hi Cora.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my library. We do share many "healing-focused" books.

Stay safe!
Thanks for the note about Lotus in the Fire, Cora. It looks like a great book; I'll look for a copy of it. I have a bunch more books to enter into my library listing; just haven't had time to get back to it. Wow, "active duty air force" among the rest of your profile details is very interesting. Combat?

Take good care,
Yvonne

Hi! Although we only share 4 books, I do like your "no tv" statement. We turned off ours in 1972 (Viet Nam war). Turned it on briefly in 1974 to see Richard Nixon squirm (Watergate).
It didn't appear in my wishlist as I no longer go out of my way to get New Age related books. There is another person on BM who has a somewhat similar name, you probably mistook me for her.

Personally I don't even like the book "Many Lives, Many Masters", "Echoes from medieval halls" was much better.
Having read all of Hollis's earlier books, I found this one with some great ideas. BUT....... his writing style changed on this one. A drastic departure from earlier writings. As though he were writing for academicians, not most readers of his earlier books.
Hollis gives me many quotes I can pass along to clients as bit of wisdom for them to ponder...

I wish you well on your spiritual sojourn....... Verlin
Nice to meet you, Cora. Thanks for the comment and all the best to you. :) - Neil and Lisa
Cora,
I took up your invitation to drop by -I think we will share more books when I get the rest of mine in - I think about 200 more. You also have some that I have had in the past and have given to others and mean to replace, Ethical Slut and the Celestine books come to mind. My books need to be culled - I go through them about every five years and let go of the ones that either aren't speaking to me at that time or seem to duplicate information I have in another book I like better. That happens especially with the pagan books. I also have a dear friend to thank for about 300 of the books. She retired and moved about 1,00 miles away and left me with about 500 books, so some of these I haven't yet read. The other 200 she gave me were either duplicates of what I already had or I passed them on to other friends of ours. So, anyway, check back in again later, I am adding a few every couple of days, as I get time. I will be coming back to your library because I see some titles that intrigue me and will probably check out when I am doing a book purchase again.
Blessings, Connie (Looks4hawks)
