About meChildren's Library Associate in Jax, Fl.
Intensely interested in Fairy Tales, Fantasy, and similar, as well as a huge weakness for Comic Books.
Twenty-something, semi-literate writer who worships Terry Pratchett as the world's greatest modern fantasy writer, and thinks that people who hate Shakespeare should be kicked soundly in the shins.

About my libraryI've dedicated this Library to mostly Fantasy books, as that's my primary passion right now. With a heavy focus on Fairy Tale retellings (though I do read more scholarly stuff when I can find someone other than the Bruno Bettelheim), I am fascinated by the different ways you can warp these familiar tales and yet still have them remain wonderful and desirable.

I read the books out of order. Started with the Immortals series. I didn't even know about The Song of the Lioness series until after I read Wild Magic! Haha. After I found out I bought all of the Alanna book and the Immortals series and started with Alanna: the first adventure until I got through the Immortals. Then I had to wait for more Tortall books but TP has another couple series that take place in another land. Those are good too btw. I don't know if you heard of them though so here's a list of them:
Sandry's Book, Tris's Book, Daja's Book, Briar's Book (they're called the Circle of Magic series and after those there's the Circle Opens series too). So if you can't wait for more TP then try to check those out too!
Glad you love her. Talk to you later. Happy reading!!!
Hi I read your comment on Becka Cooper by Tamora Pierce. She is an amazing author. If you want the background of Tortall read The Song of the Lioness series -Alanna: The First Adventure; In the Hands of the Goddess; The Woman Who Rides Like a Man; Lioness Rampant. After that read The Immortals series -Wild Magic; Wolf-Speaker; Emperor Mage; The Realms of the Gods. THEN read The Protector of the Small series -First Test; Page; Squire; Lady Knight. Those are the main core series the other books like Trickster's Choice and Tricksters Queen are about the second generation characters. I haven't read Becka Cooper yet but I hear good things about it. I will get it this summer! yay! Happy reading!!!
PS: If you ever want to discuss Tamora Pierce after you read some more, let me know! I love her work.
