About meI have always loved to read. When I was little I would stay up until I fell asleep head first in my book. Unfortunately as time went on I found I was only reading books for requirement at school. Now I have finished my college undergraduate degree and am working as a nanny with two children while trying to finish my masters. Between my best friend suggesting some great books and Ella who is the eight year old I nanny for, I am back into books. I can't seem to get enough. I find a book I love and I am enraptured for days, weeks, months depending on the length and if it's a series. I hate when they end though, no matter how great they are or end, I can never put them down until there is nothing left. When there is nothing left I am sad because it's over. I am hoping to find others here who find what I do in books and help suggest more for me to read as I hope to be able to do for others.

About my libraryThese are just the books I have read somewhat recently that I enjoy... I hope to keep adding more!

I see your waist deep in morganville vampire series! Great right I was totally suprised at how much I liked that series. Shane, Clair and Myrnin are my favorite characters. I also have a little bit of a soft spot for Oliver despite his core evilness I have hope theirs a good heart behind his jerky actions.
The sequel wont be coming out for a while since Steifvater is all ready working on the third and final book in the shiver series. So I think the lament series is on hold until shiver finishes up. Have you heard some studio bought the rights to make Shiver a movie! I was really hoping that one would stay in the reading community. The twilight movie adaptions are o.k. but I don't want the shiver series to cheapen out in that way. I think its going to lose that duel perspective the book gives.
How did you like Ballad? I really liked it. More than the first actually. James personality is so much more likable than Dee's. Although all those unexplained text left me really wondering what is going on on Dee's side of the story line. I want the next book to focus on Sullivan but I was really expecting to find out more of what has become of Luke in this book.
Well it's name is Blood and Love well the 1st one anyway. it's somewhat like Twilight except it's more bloody but not by much not like gore haven Lolz! i've been speaking to publishers and i most likely will go with Authorhouse becanse it gives me more control like designing the book and the cost. it's werid but im writting the 2nd and 3rd book at the same time. yeah i know WERID but i have been and i don't get confused because Blood and Tears(2) and Blood and Forever(3) are practically written just in my head LoLz
How are you liking Vampire Diaries? I never bought into it and now that the T.V series has started I thought about maybe giving it a go. I watched a couple of episodes and I'm no more convinced to read it, but maybe the show doesnt do the series justice. I'm ordering the morganville vampire series. I liked the short story in eternal kiss. My new go to recommendation for the year(after shiver of course) is Going Bovine. I was so consumed by that book!
I read shiver like a month ago and the stories still stuck in my head. Every time I go to a book store or shop on line I know I'm just looking for another book just like shiver. Theirs a sequel coming out fall 2010 called linger. The only thing stevfater is letting slip about the details of the book is that its about life and what you do after you lose what you thought you could never live without and have become some one you can't live with. My guess is that its either about sam losing his wolf family or how gracies responsible for that one incident I don't want to give it away to those who haven't read it. My wildest guess is that maybe its about the girl who's name I can't remimber the best freinds that got bit. Wow that's a long comment, sorry for the mis spellings
*smile
Hey, I see we have a lot of books in common, if your looking for something new to read you should check out The Mortal Instruments. It's a three book series, City of Bones, City of Ashes, and City of Glass, by Cassandra Clare. You will pick them up and read until your finished, they're similar to the supernatural/fantasy/paranormal type books like Twilight but they are completely different at the same time!
