About meCraig Pynn is the author of "One Man's Life-Changing Diagnosis: Navigating the Realities of Prostate Cancer (New York: Demos Health, 2012)

I graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a minor in English and have an MBA from the Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley. My career has been in the electronics industry, focusing in the area of automatic test of systems, sub-systems and semiconductors. But I have been writing throughout his career in his field, including two books for McGraw Hill, Strategies for Electronics Test, and The Low-Cost Test Handbook. My bylined papers and articles have appeared in journals and technology trade magazines in the U.S., Asia, and Europe, including IEEE Design & Test of Computers, Electronics, Electronics Business, Test & Measurement World, Circuits Assembly, Test (UK) and SMT Asia.

When I was diagnosed with advanced Prostate Cancer in eary 2009, I turned my focus to this issue. I am currently a Consumer Reviewer on the Genetics/Molecular Biology Peer Review Panel for the Prostate Cancer Research Program (PCRP) of the Congressionally Directed Research Programs (CDMRP) I'm also the founding principal of Helios Marketing Advisors, Inc., a technology marketing consultancy in California.

About my libraryMy interests are cosmology, theology and how capitalism works or doesn't work. Since I also have advanced prostate cancer and have authored a book about that, I'm also interested in cancer memoirs written by men--of which there appear to be few.
