About meArtist, reader, walker. In the past, I had an Etsy shop for crafts...crochet. Hence Crotchetymama...emphatically not crotchety, most of the time. The shop has been closed because time vs return was out of balance. I also work as a designer, sometimes.

If I can't find anything handy to read, I will read the backs of cereal boxes, directions for installing anything, labels, ads, whatever. Sad, isn't it?

About my libraryIt ebbs and flows! Generally when I move it gets smaller, and when I stay put it grows and grows and grows. I am addicted to books.

Concentration on History and Fiction in about equal parts, then Science Fiction, Essays, Mysteries/Thrillers, Poetry, Tech, Paranormal, and periodicals in descending and constantly varying amounts.
