hya kid, apologies for not responding to your missive in may. have taken my very first overseas trip and been to ireland and wales. both beautiful and full of beautiful friendly people - a good time was had by all. in hay-on-wye (a small welsh town) there are 39 second hand bookshops - no two the same! no trouble in welsh country-side to see how mystical stories are inevitable, the country is lush but very rugged - with grey overcast sky often and floating mists below montaintop, but in brief bursts from higher on a hillside you see breaks allowing glimpses over five or more cosecutive ranges one behind the other. most of the old houses that were small farm houses are built from the flat sided cleaved scree falling down the almost vertical, eroding sides of 'solid' slate hills and mountains, (it is most often very black). They commonly had thatched rooves, so are now roofless, must have been cold and cramped, but now look most romantic. no trouble to live in the area and write stories of magic and mystery, romance and 'terror'. not only that, where the irish have leprechauns the older welsh speakers themselves are most faery, magical, beautiful and friendly. apologies for long sentences - very best wishes - jules

Obviously welcome to Librarything. It only took me three months to get all my books indexed!
However, I really use the service because I want a record of my books and have never ventured on to the social side. For me, life is a little too short. I don't facebook or twitter either.
Anyway, good luck when you do start listing
