I just noticed that we have a lot of books in common. I am always interested in talking to people who share my interest in history--and not just American History. What are you reading now?

I discovered that we have quite a few books in common, especialy about the president. I read the Haldeman and immediately thought....once a candidate is elected this should be on his must read list. I was amazed how he showed how Nixon just seemed to be making it up as he went along, how unfocused he could be. Then I discovered I had The Real War in my library, which Nixon said he had been working on before he was elected. He never changed his view that the world was always going to be dominated by a threatening Communism ready to gobble up everyone.

Greenspan's book (from a library booksale last month) is on my list next. How timely.
