About meA practicing Catholic husband and father of six, I was born and raised in central lower Michigan. I have a particular interest in Catholic theology (understandable), American History (also understandable), with a focus on the American Civil War (Bruce Catton was a fellow Michigander). I also have a fascination with Byzantium and Byzantine civilization, the origins of which are rather harder to suss out. I'm also cataloguing my ultra-patient wife's collection, too, out of gratitude.
About my libraryIt's in the finished basement, and is thanks largely to the patience of my Much Better Half, who figures it is a better habit than crack. Not sure it's cheaper.
