I just looked at your mystery and historical fiction list and didn't see Lisa See on it: The Flower Net, The Interior, and Dragon Bones. I think you might really like these.
I read the Laurie King book about Mary R. and Sherlock H. going to India in pursuit of Kim and adored it. i then went back and read Kipling's Kim and found it even better. Did you do the same? This one was my favorite of the Russell series--despite my forgetting its name.

Happy reading.

I completely disagree with the statement you made in your review of harry potter about Ginny not being important. Harry marries her for Pete's sake. The romances in Harry's life make him seem more realistic, because you can relate to him, and he seems like more of a regular teenager with a regular life not just some depressed, horror struck wizard.
Re. your review of Jerusalem Inn, "If I'm not mistaken, this is the 18th in the series of Richard Jury mysteries."

You are mistaken in this minor point, it's the fifth. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martha_Grim... and the nice new LT Series feature. But otherwise, fine.
