About me Mathematics Teacher in International Schools, taught in UK, Colombia, UK, and now off to Bangladesh for at least a couple of years.
Married, two kids, interested in pretty much anything. Enjoy reading, don't get anywhere near as much time as I'd like to do so though. Perhaps I'll have more time in Dhaka.
About my library I used to have loads more books but took them with me to Colombia and when I left I had to leave so many behind. That was painful. So I whittled down my collection to the ones I really, really wanted to keep.
Now, I'm working on building it up again, but I don't have as much time to read as I would like, so it's a slow process. And of course, my reading preferences have developed over time.
I love Sci-Fi, from the older stuff like E.E. Doc Smith when they didn't have a clue, to the hard science of later writers such as Greg Bear who do know what's going on. But I'm out of touch, haven't read much that's really new in recent years.
I'm also getting into history a lot, and over time perhaps some philosophy, classics, etc. We'll just have to see, won't we.
