About meIn first grade, teachers told my mother I needed help with reading. She said, "He'll read when he's ready." Turned out that was third-grade when my reading ability began to match my curiosity. Stuck my nose in a book for most of the next decade! I still read a lot. About the only time in my life when I didn't read much for knowledge and pleasure was law school and the years when I was practicing law. After getting a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania in 2006, I read a lot in that field today, along with science fiction and some biographies when I just want to relax.
