Sorry to say that I'm behind on visiting my Library and just now found your posting.

A friend gave the book to me for Christmas. He knew that my wife and I enjoy the Opera.

You may be interested in knowing, he does not, that my wife inherited a Victrola which came with a set of records. As a girl, her grandmother would play the Victrola for her and her mother.

I noticed you were the only other person who has the "Victrola Book of the Opera". Isn't it a marvelous book? How'd you come to acquire it?
