Shortly after returning to the USA after 2o yrs in Japan, I passed through Asheville.
i was with my sister so I could not do as i wanted but i recall seeing -- not entering -- a sandle store with decent prices which told me Asheville had a live creaive culture which delighted me.
At present, i am trying to decide whether i try to get to japan, edinburgh, etc. and i see some of your selections and wonder if I look too far . . .
i see pagel's bk with your bks anbd recall introducing her to my publisher in jp
it is hard to explain but i would love to hear from you
