About mePlenty to tell unfortunately not much of what I can tell will be of outside interest. I love history evident by my library. I have a website that is somewhat in the historical way by reuniting individuals with their ancestors photos ( link below). Very happily Married, with 4 sons now grown 10 great ( like in wow!) Grandkids . Principal Scientist for a Major Food Company . Travel as much as affordable and when I have the time , Self styled a Fun Loving Foody as I am a Food Technologist who has been lucky enough to travel much and experience "Food" from many perspectives , Like I said before I love history and I chase it , in particular Henry Adams ( See my blog http://www.deadfred.com/blog/2008/05/16/...) . Presently chasing the Bloomsbury Group , I find them very interesting in thier pecular-ness especially the peripheral people like Vita Sackville West & Vita's husband Harold Nicolson, Mark Gertle,Dora Carrington,Ralph & Francis Partridge. Their relationships are not really what I find the most interesting as much as how much their personalities effected their contemporaries and how they differed from society during the late Victorian and Edwardian eras.
am also unquestionably a Romantic. I like art (Pencil Sketching) but haven't been at it for a while and the late 60's - 70s which I lived through and enjoyed . Getting out of the service in 1969 and experiencing all the upheaval was something to see and be felt .
About my libraryNot all of the books listed are in my household library , some are in my head having read them over the years. But each of these cerebral copies are as much a part of me as the ones I can still reference off of the household book shelf

Yes, of course, I'd like to be your librarything friend. You have a very interesting library. I would like to encourage you to continue your exploration of the Bloomsbury Group. I think I have nearly everything that has been written about them. My interest in them is primarily their near perfection in acquiring the art of friendship. I envy them that. I have several close friends but have never found a larger group with whom I could develop a personal and intellectual affinity. Last winter my wife and I attended a conference on Bloomsbury art at Duke where I almost immediately connected with almost anyone we met. One of the Bell grandsons was there, along with a number of people from England. Have you read "Bloomsbury in France?" The author of that book was there, and we had a spirited conversation one night at dinner.
Best Wishes,
Dave Stewart
