About meOne of my happiest memories is the moment in first grade when I realized that I was really, truly allowed to check out three books at a time from the elementary school "liberry" and could keep rotating one each day as I finished it. "You've always got your nose stuck in a book" was a perjorative phrase in my household; but I knew a good thing when I saw it.

I am an artist/artisan who designs and hand-carves architectural ornament, furniture, restoration or reproduction carvings and original designs in bas relief wood sculpture. Everything I do is custom, I welcome commissions.

I've just turned my hand to illustration for the first time for the fantasy novel "The Choir Boats" written by my prodigiously talented husband Daniel A. Rabuzzi.

About my libraryMuch of my library is devoted to the visual arts. Fiction, though, is my first love. I'm a literary snob and need beautiful writing to stay interested in a story; am very partial to 18th & 19th century literature, am forever trying to get people to read the under-appreciated British author Elizabeth Bowen, and am an inveterate fan of fantasy and sci-fi.
