About meI am a Christian. I've been married to my husband since 1982. We have seven wonderful children whom we have homeschooled since 1988 (two have graduated now). When we have lived in our current house for five years it will be the longest I have ever lived anywhere. We have lived in over two dozen different houses, in three countries and 11 states. I've been snorkeling with my preschoolers in the East China Sea, I've been tent camping with a newborn in the Pacific Northwest, tent camping with seven children and my husband on the Olympic Peninsula, and I've been up the Al-Can and back down again.
I like home best.
About my libraryI love to read. I come from an extended family of packrats. I have schoolbooks that belonged to my great-great grandparents on down. We have over 6,000 books already catalogued on Readerware, and I don't think I'll manage to transfer them all to Library Thing. For me, the fun of Library Thing is the social aspect- I love seeing who else likes the books I like, and what else they are reading.

I have just spotted that you have added me to your list of 'Interesting Libraries',for which I thank you. It is always pleasing when somebody does this.My collection has taken many years to put together and has been a true labour of love.Certainly Librarything has been a great help in working out exactly what I own and in cataloguing the whole thing.
I have been looking through the books that you tag 'bibliophilia',in which I was very interested.I have tagged mine 'books about books'.
I have reciprocated and added you to my list of 'Interesting Libraries' too.
Bast wishes from England.

Just a heads up...
I don't usually quibble about changes to LT but I did feel strongly enough about the cover display changes to post at the New Features Group:
http://www.librarything.com/topic/65456
I use the "Cover" feature a lot so noticed the change immediately. Even mention it on my LT profile page...
"The best way to view my books here is by choosing the COVER (rather than LIST) format and +ing to the largest size available. Since the majority are picture books, yeah, you can judge a book by its cover :-) Other than those, search genre by tag (sf, history, art,...) and have at it..."
If you ever use the cover display rather than the list feature for your LT library you may want to follow the discussion too. Messages: 173, 174, 183, 184, 186, 187.
And, of course, if you have an opinion yea or nay, feel free to chime in :-)
Regards - Pat

Just a quick note that I uploaded the cover to the Arabian Nights Entertainment Book in case you want to grab it.
I also think you might enjoy joining The Highly-Rated Book Group located here:

And I must admit that the first sentence of my "about me" paragraph is not original, but courtesy of writer Rod Dreher.

Would you be willing to allow your review of the The Aaronsohn Saga to be published in the print periodical The Young Israel Viewpoint? If so, please re-edit the reveiw and provide you full name for the byline.
We hope to hear from you soon.
