About me Working artist, writer, HAPPILY married. I am also in school with a VERY heavy class load to be a Dr. of Ayurveda. Just now getting back into my yoga practice. Active in Prison Dharma. I am pretty active in bookmooch as I have actually found a few required books for school which makes bookmooch WELL worth the time it takes. I have a pretty insane 15-yr old gorgeous daughter to try to keep up with (doesn't always work but I try).
About my library Not as eclectic as it used to be, I have my Rosicrucian stuff, my art books, books needed for school (I love my studies, though, can't complain a single bit). I have a starving brain and more so since I came to Texas. If I'm feeding my brain lotsa brainfood like what you see in my library, then things are good, if not....I go a little haywire and I become confused and physically hungry. It's pretty weird.

Also, I haven't had time to put in individual reviews, but I can tell you that the Deepak Chopra books are GREAT for the non-professional layperson interested in in actual healthy living but not necessarily planning on being a Dr. of Ayurveda. If you do plan of being a Dr of Ayurveda, most of my textbooks are just FANTASTIC, my high ratings for them are absolutely sincere. The best intro to Ayurveda I have seen is The Science of Self-Healing by Dr. Vasant Lad (my mentor's mentor) as it gives a really great, authentic, accurate overview and is easy for a beginner to understand, IMHO.
More later, never have enough time, you know how it is.
