About meI am a former Elementary Librarian. I volunteered full time for 6 years. That explains my love of children and young adult literature as well as the fact that I am raising 4 girls. I spent 25 years in Real Estate Finance before that. A life long eclectic reader that is subject to read YA one day and genealogical history the next. Avid mystery reader. Women writers from all over the world.

Noticed you liked Ellen Foster, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also a southern story about a disturbed young girl (and also a bit dark). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more before you commit:

Ooh great, I'd love to see more discussion there too! I'm always happy to introduce people to LibriVox - sharing happiness around :) Glad you like it!
Donura...you asked about getting the audio of Christopher Buckley's Losing Mum and Pup. I just got one from Hachette. In fact, I got three free audios this month just for saying yes, I'd review them. Just join the Early Birds ARC Review group here:

I also got a copy of The Link, and Obama's Blackberry just for asking. I keep thinking there must be a hidden catch someplace, but if all they want is an honest review, I can do that easily. I hope they have some left.
