Hi, Larry - thanks so much for the add. I did enjoy Standish and look forward to Erastes' next!

[Tree of Smoke] is incredibly powerful. If you're a 'Nam vet, this book will really hit home. If you weren't in 'Nam, this will take you there. Easily the best Viet Nam War book I've ever read. Johnson nails it.

I'm currently reading [The Indian Clerk] by David Leavitt and enjoying it immensely.

I likewise enjoyed [Hotel de Dream] but was disappointed in [Beloved Son].
