About meI am a librarian at an independent university in the Shenandoah Valley in western Virginia. I wrote my PhD dissertation for a Catholic university in Europe on the English reformer/translator William Tyndale and continue to be interested in the theology and history of the 16th Century.

Hello! I haven't ignored you...just haven't been on Library Thing in a while. I had an unusually busy Fall with travel to various conferences. Enjoyable, but exhausting!

The Hardesty book came out about the same time I finished my thesis and I was at first afraid she'd beaten me to the punch! But as I read it, like you, I found that it basically pulled together mostly commonly known material. It is a good, quick overview. More history than theology (which is good for me!).

I hope you're enjoying your work in VA. You are in a lovely part of the country!

We are expecting a second grandson in March! Hope and Josh gave us our first 2 years ago and we are blessed to have him living as close as Knoxville! Christmas is so much fun when you have grandkids!

Blessings during the Christmas season,
Kim
Bravo! I just saw the post on your accomplishment. I hope you were able to celebrate in style- that is quite a feat.
You have an ambitious project going! We have really had a good time, and our library is done, and I tagged all "my" books so my hubby has to finish his grad school stuff. But its a very gratifying sort of work and I feel like I actually accomplished something but didn't expend an enormous amount of energy. I actually think I will make a separate account for my son- people are forever asking me "does he have xx?" and who knows? Like I can remember! This way I can send his list out to all interested parties, complete with wish list, and I"ll be all set.

Good luck with the bookcases!

Don- I finally made it and have actually been cataloging! This is so fun! My library is Mine and my husband's, so its quite the mix. It has inspired us to organize our office, so yippee. Can I be your friend? :) ~Erin
Hi! I note that you have Bob Hood's "Must God Remain Greek/" Was Bob a friend of yours'? Michael E. Katz -- BusterStronghart@gmail.com

Hey, apologies for lack of reply again - moved to a new flat and (still) got no internet there. I'll drop you a line with my paper when I get a minute!

My edition of Gifford's Dialogue Concerning Witches is out now - have a look at my website!

Cheers,

Simon
Don - So good to see you at conference this year! Sorry that LibraryThing was uncooperative during your sessions, but I sure hope people took good notes and give it a try when they get home. It was a great presentation!
