About meBookaholic writer, seeker, tattooed dreamer & schemer, motorcycle-riding poet & destroyer of stereotypes. I read my first book at age five and haven't stopped since. We are all falling, falling, falling, free-falling toward death and there is no safety net, save a book.
Poetry is one of my passions: reading it, writing it, eating it, drinking it, dreaming it. I believe that words are magic, saviors, healers, destroyers, gods...
About my libraryI have a home and overflowing with books & love. I have quite a bit of classic fiction and trashy ficiton, but mainly collect poetry, first editions of certain novels, spiritual writings, reference, Anais Nin's writings, non-fiction and tarot books. I'm a 100% total book slut. I'm never without something to read.
I love Anais Nin and her crowd, Rimbaud, H. D., Alice Hoffman, Christy Yorke, Isabelle Allende, Ann Tyler, Elizabeth Berg, Joyce Carol Oates, Hemingway, Sue Monk Kidd, William Burroughs, Mark Twain, Anne Lamott, Pearl S. Buck, Oscar Wilde, Faulkner, hell, I read them all. Those are just the ones that came to mind.

Read your post on Shantaram on Books That Make You Think, and couldn't agree more! What an amazing book.
