About me I am a Young Adult librarian in Nassau County, Long Island. I love all types of YA books. On the adult side, I typically read mysteries--Ed McBain, Lisa Scottoline, David Liss.

About my library My library is a suburban library serving about 30,000 residents.

Hi there, Ed. I read your comments on the Mystery authors who have lost it thread, and I wholeheartedly agree, both about Robt. Parker having lost it, and about Mosely's Fearless Jones being really good.

What caught my eye at first was your name. I thought at first that you might be my friend the Portland, OR based mystery writer Ed Goldberg. Then I saw that you're a YA librarian in Nassau County. (I'm a big reader of YA mysteries, being a parent and a teacher, as well as being the New England rep. for the Mystery Writers of America youth outreach program).

Anyhow, we have 15 books in common so far. But I'll wager we'll have a lot more if you enter more of your books into LT. I'm also a big Ed McBain fan. Cheerio and Happy New Year.

Steve
