About meHello,
I'm currently an Assistant English Teacher for Nara City in Japan. I have recently begun my fifth and final year teaching for the city. I truly love Japan, and especially love Nara. I am studying Japanese language, tea ceremony, and how to play the shamisen, though I'm poor at all of the above. Due to the fact that I love Nara and my contract will soon be coming to an end, I have decided to open a cafe within Nara City where people can stop to practice their English and enjoy a meal. ^o^ To support this concept, I also intend to open a library! See below!
About my libraryThis is the fledgling beginning of the Eikaiwa (English Conversation) Cafe library. Composed of both my own books as well as those donated by friends and fellow English teachers. While the collection is sparse now, I hope to have collected at least a thousand books before the cafe opens in early 2011! However, please know that even if the cafe won't be opening until 2011, the library is already open for business. If you are in the Nara area, please email if you are interested in any of the books listed in my library and I'd be happy to share them with you. I'd also be greatful for any and all donations to the cafe's collection!
