- About Me
- I am an avid reader of classic literature. I enjoy, foremost, Russian authors but as a writer, I read an array of books to study an author's style and use of words. I was first inspired to write at 7 years old by the works of Edgar Allen Poe receiving an award for a mystery short story I wrote at age 14. I was motivated by Thoreau's words, "Do not sit down to write until you have stood up to live." I lived and worked in various countries experiencing life under different cultures and forms of government. I write literary fiction that is based on the lives of people I encountered. I hope my stories will enlighten and motivate readers to assess their lives and recreate themselves to find their true place in life that leads to happiness and fulfillment.
