Cloudstag cloud, author cloud

About meI am a 55-year-old mom of three girls and one boy (they're perfect) and I love, love, love reading. My favorite subject is history, especially World War I, Truman and Churchill, and I like very good fiction. I work full-time as an in-house writer and proofreader, and I've been known to send e-mails to businesses that say things along the lines of, "I'm sorry, but your ad says, 'Its a great deal!' when what you mean is, 'It's a great deal!'"
I also love movies and thrift shopping and Scrabble.

Oh yes, 'Possession' is one of my very favourite books. Have you read The Children's Book? I enjoyed that too, but not quite as much, even though I'm fond of the pre-raph movement.
Words like 'hertwarming' can be helpful, don't you think? If I see them in a blurb or review then I know it's not the book for me!

Best wishes,

GG
Just wanted to say the your review of the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie society is spot on!
Read it for my book group, and everyone else loved it - my thought? If you're going to write an epistolatory novel in several characters, make sure you can write in several (not just one) styles.

I disagree about Cloud Atlas 'tho.

Best wushes,
GG
