About meThis is a Legacy Library Project, managed by Russell A. Potter, Ph.D.

About my libraryThis is a reconstruction of the lost library of Sir John Franklin's ships, HMS "Erebus" and "Terror", last seen in Arctic waters in 1845. It includes books known to have been aboard because they were mentioned in letters home, books recovered from the Arctic, and books whose presence on board can be reasonably inferred from contemporary sources.
