About meI love pencil drawing, encaustic painting, making rosaries, writing, and, of course, reading! I am fond of the color black, Chuck Taylor All Stars, and Batman t-shirts. I love listening to symphonic and industrial metal, hard rock, soundtracks, and classical music. To say that I am obsessed with Doctor Who is a gross understatement of my dedication, as my brain seems to have absorbed a great deal of the Time Vortex, and I hope that I will mutate into a Time Lord. Or something. I am also a lifelong Sherlockian with strong feelings for the books and for both Jeremy Brett and Benedict Cumberbatch's portrayal of the Great Detective. I am also fond of a lot of the reviewers on That Guy With the Glasses, I love the ponies from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and you will find no better superhero than Batman.

Beware: Sometimes I have a bad habit of starting my sentences with "well." I also use a lot of smiley faces. :D

I try to live out G.K. Chesterton's words - "Let your religion be less of a theory and more of a love affair." I am in love with my God and I am in love with Catholicism.

About my libraryEvery available space in my room has been turned into a bookshelf, as my three small official bookshelves are not big enough to hold all my books. I go to the used book sale at my library a lot (at which I also volunteer), so I take home far too many donated books. I really like classic books and poetry, although I loathe free verse (most of it, although some pieces are tolerable). I adore a well written YA book, and C.S. Lewis is my panacea. I also love books about mythology, Latin, and Catholicism. Comics are also very fun for me to read, and I adore Batman.

My books are catalogued according to what I own and also what I have read from the public library, but unfortunately had to return. Everything that I read I rate, and if it isn't rated, you can assume that I haven't read it yet.

what is that?
It took approximately 2 nano-seconds between my reading through your favourite authors and clicking the "interesting libraries" button. Christopher Marlowe (my new-found love), Emily B., Poe AND J.K. Rowling? Yes, please.
Also, thanks again for the Doctor Who tips. I checked out the "Doctor Who for Dummies" video - really great - and I'm definitely giving the show a go as soon as I have time to watch.
Yoohoo, did you forget us poor Cramboites?

Jeremy Brett is the definitive Holmes, in my opinion, however, I do believe that Benedict Cumberbatch's portrayl is on par with Brett's. Both of them are perfect for the era they come from.

No, Rose is the blonde. Martha was with the Doctor for Series 3. Rose left in Series 2. :(
