About meI'm married with three children. I'm the retired Senior Exhibit Designer at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. Now I'm an author--of the book EXCELSIOR, YOU FATHEAD! THE ART AND ENIGMA OF JEAN SHEPHERD, and numerous articles about Shepherd. He was the innovative, extemporaneous talker on radio for decades, as well as a creator in several fields. The general public is most familiar with his holiday movie, A CHRISTMAS STORY, which he created and narrated.

About my libraryMy wife and I have over seven thousand books. She concentrates on Victorian literature, biography, and modern fiction. I specialize in books about art as well as books by and about such American authors as Hemingway, Mailer, and e. e. cummings.
