About meIn no particular order, I enjoy: librarianship, contemporary poetry, Haribo gummi bears, rollercoasters, surrealist cinema, subtitles, alphabetizing, baking with real butter and sugar, horror films, camp (the aesthetic, not the location), literary theory, celebrity gossip, victoriana, well-tailored coats, irony in everyday life, video games, speculative fiction, and staying up late.

About my libraryI enjoy a pretty eclectic mix of genres, but my library does reflect my primary academic interests of the surreal in contemporary poetry, author-as-translator, the graphic novel as literary genre, and the evolution and dissemination of folklore/"magic stories". I also have a weakness for literate horror and any recipe for buttery, artery-busting pastry.
