About me My name is Charles Clemons and I am an independent writer of science fiction, horror and fantasy. It is a tough world for independent writers having no true advertisement budget and for having to deal with the snobbish attitude of readers and writers alike that look down upon self-published writers as sub par at best. I personally chose to write and publish my own material for one primary reason: complete control over my material. I didn't want to write under deadlines or alter my work to meet coerced expectations such as strong feminine heroine protagonist or the next episode to CSI whatever. Not that I’m against strong feminine characters or crime dramas, but I don’t believe that they need to be used unless it is central to the storyline. I write because I love to do so and every word I write is written because in my heart, I believe it’s critical to the story I want to tell. I read and write all the time and I would love to discuss fiction, especially matters of weird fiction with anyone. I have two books currently in print, [Cosmic Contemplations] and [Funky Shrooms and Other Exquisite Delights], the first being science fiction and the latter being horror, but both have a tint of weird fiction within each tale. I also am a publisher that publishes unusual short stories and other fiction. If your're a writer and would like to have your work published through Portal Press you can submit it at: http://www.portalpressbooks.com/5.html.
About my library My library contains books I both own or have read and deal primarily with weird fiction.

the name " Yellowish haze" comes from a story by Thomas Ligotti entitled "I Have a Special Plan for this World".
Thanks for your comments regarding my library. I'm just about to check your own plethora of titles.
Best,
Slawek
