About meI lived from March 25, 1925 and died on August 3, 1964. Most of my life was spent in Georgia, but I also earned an MFA from the Writers' Workshop at the University of Iowa and lived for several years in Connecticut. I wrote several short story collections (A Good Man is Hard to Find, Everything That Rises Must Converge) and two novels (Wise Blood, The Violent Bear It Away).
About my libraryMy library consists heavily of works in philosophy, theology, history, literature, and literary criticism. These books are those now housed at the library of Georgia College and State University.
