About me I read to live other lives and visit other worlds. I have been doing it for as long as I remember and it is as natural as breathing now.

About my library Mostly fiction, but with good sprinkling of history and biography. Lots of women authors and mainly British writing. I collect Persephones and Virago Modern Classics and I also have a weakness for old Penguins.

My library is what I own and can locate - there are always a good few books around the house waiting to be found a home and catalogued.

Why thank you for the warm welcome back dear Fleur I will go over there right now!
Jane, thank you so much for the copy of [Full House], which arrived safely on my doorstep this afternoon.

Ditto, FleurFisher! You have a great library. I hope to have time next month (during my vacation!) to add more of my books.

Jane, postie just delivered [The Passion of New Eve]. Thank you very much for sending it to me.

Funny dog pic, Jane - the spikes of the plant look like a green punk hairdo behind his/her back. Beware the spined tree-climbing carnivorous lab-cross canine! The Jabberwock can't hold a candle to them, vorpel blades or not.

Jane, I am so glad Salem Chapel arrived safely. Enjoy it. I am so glad we can share books across the pond.

I was worried about that actually so while I was in Waterstones in Oxford I had a look and got hold of another two booklets. One will be on the way to you later today and hopefully it will arrive this time.

You might be right, there could be a rogue Virago-loving postal worker enjoying the first booklet right now. Hopefully they will be satisfied with just the one booklet though. The letter I sent to my friend in Yeovil didn't arrive either, so something went wrong that day I think.

Fingers crossed for this second booklet to arrive.
