About meI work with numbers. Words are my avocation and my escape. I read, I blog, I write, I buy books, I read some more. I have a great family - husband, son, stepdaughter, and stepson - that enables and supports my bookaholism.

About my libraryI read mostly general, semi-literary contemporary fiction - not much from particular genres, and not a lot of heavy reads (although I do appreciate thought-provoking material, I don't really want it to be *work*). I think my tastes are pretty varied. My forays into nonfiction are usually memoirs, with occasional side trips into various social-science areas.

My library is a mix of read and to-be-read; all the TBR-tagged booked are actually in my possession. However, not all of the "read" ones are, since I frequently give them away or donate them to the library after I'm done with them.
