I must admit that I'm excited to see Fraser in Inkheart, mainly because I love his version of the audiobook. I thought he did a great job!
Very sweet and old-fashioned. If you recall the first book, the grown children of an old couple realize they are alone for Christmas and quickly organize to do something about it. In the second one, the tribe organizes to fix up and re-open the old church in the village. It is long out of copyright, so you can get the text (and the charming illustrations) on Project Gutenberg, here: http://www.gutenberg.org/files/19384/193...
You are the only person, besides me, who has "On Christmas Day in the Morning", by Grace S. Richmond, a charming old story. Did you know there is a companion volume, "On Christmas Day in the Evening"? I seem to be the only person who has that one.
