About meI'm 49. I have a degree in Classics and am reading for a degree in maths. I like to read in French, Spanish, Latin Greek. I have rusty knowledge of Italian, Dutch, Catalan. I speak fluent German, but am not interested in reading the language. My knowledge of English lit is pretty poor because learning foreign languages keeps my reading speed dead slow and keeps me away from English. When I'm too tired to read I listen to music or watch comedy DVDs. I have about 750 books, but I'm not going to pay Librarything.com just yet, so I'm limited to posting 200 books here.

About my libraryUsed to be twice as big - classics plus trash (old Spanish paperbacks more dust than paper, old Pelicans on any subject, out-of-date and disintegrating, that kind of thing). It has only become a classics library by dint of getting rid of the trash.
