About me I am fond of military history, particularly the history of WW2.
I am a book collector: pocketbooks of the "Armed Services Editions", "Infantry Journal" and "Overseas Editions" Series and WW2 booklets (British and US Armies and Information Services).
I am also interested in the history and geography of the United States (exploration journeys, American Civil War, Indian Wars, American Indians, West Frontier, US Army during WW1 and WW2, National Parks, etc..).
About my library My library includes also the library of my wife (tags: cats, cookbooks, travel, painting, music, Simenon,...)

Thanks for the very nice reply. No need to worry about your English; it's just fine--much better than I would be with French! :-) In fact, your English grammar is much better than the grammar of many people I know! Ha, ha.
Merci encore,
John

Love the photo! My brother sent me a photo of his son sitting in basically the same spot as where your photo was taken.
Found your page by following the tag "Armed Services Edition," especially once I saw how many you have compared to other LT members! Wow! I only have one. LOL.
Cheers,
John
