About meReading is the closest I have ever come to believing in God. I became a writer because I wanted to know what it was like to be on the other side of the discussion every reader has with the writer of the book they are holding. I write books for adults, teenagers, and children.

About my libraryWell, until I met my husband, it was organized by favorites, books that fit on these shelves, a section for Irish history, and lots and lots of piles. Now there are still piles, and a few shelves in my study are crammed with favorites, but most of the books in our house are alphabetized. When he first did that, I told him "Now all I can see is the ORDER."
