About meI am a retired nurse and a Snowbird. We enjoy going to Texas in the winter, and the first thing we do when we get there is go to the library. At home I like my local library a lot, especially now that they have MelCat, a way to borrow books from many other libraries in Michigan. But I also have a card at a bigger library in Indiana, only about 8 miles away.
I read mostly mysteries. I started collecting mysteries about native Americans, spread out to getting books with a firm western locale, and have progressed to mysteries that have a strong locale anywhere in the US (or Botswana, in one case).

About my libraryI collect Tony Hillerman, J. A. Jance, Betsy Thornton, David Cole, Margaret Coel, James Doss, Janet Evanovich, Lilian Jackson Braun, Steve Hamilton, Allana Martin, and Lee Martin (not the western author, but an older mystery writer).
