About meI'm a chemist (polymer/organic), which explains all the chemistry books. Browse my tags to get an idea of my other interests.

About my librarySometimes just the title or a cool looking spine will catchy my eye, and I gotta buy the book even if I never have intentions of it being read. Old books especially. As a bonus, they often smell strange. Old science books are great, it's funny what they thought 100 years ago, but also amazing at what they knew.

Nerd Fight!
Well, I've scrounged together most of my organic books, and I've taken over the lead in the race of the organic chemistry nerds. I'm guessing I have at most ten left.

This is all because I was curious about who else would have a copy of Woodruff's Foundations of Biology (my catalogued copy - I think I have an older one somewhere - belonged to an uncle who would be in his 90's now, so it's a pretty old book)
Enjoy leading the organic chemistry group while you can. I may well catch up when I get everything catalogued. I will get quite close in any case. My collection of the first several volumes of Reagents for Organic Synthesis will make a big dent in your lead.
