I haven't tried Stephen Lawrence, perhaps I should. Have you read Mary Stewart's Arthur books? Personally I like them the best. Bernard Cornwell's are good too.

Hello Goudgefan - looking at the books we share, I see a pattern emerging! (I don't understand why I don't appear in your 'members with' panel, LT is confusing to me sometimes) Anyway, anyone who has Inklings and Arthur in their tag cloud (not to mention Goudge) must have a lot in common with me. I look forward to some chats!

I see that you have A wrinkle in time in your library! I loved that book when I read it as a kid, but it's been so long, I think I'll have to pick it up again and read it!
