Miriam,
Thanks for getting back to me. I'd still like to show you the MS DOC file I've worked up showing some of the image variations and I could do you up a special model just for you if liked a particular image. If your system can't read an MS DOC file I could save the file as a RTF file or I could probably save it as an HTML file, I'm not sure.
But I'm not aware of how to get a copy to you except via email. I haven't been connected to LibraryThing long enough so I don't know if there is a way to get you an attached file directly thru LT channels. If you know of another way and can talk me thru it, that's OK.
Thanks,
k'garts
P.S. I'm probably just being a show off but I had so much fun putting this DOC file together that I hate to have it go unseen. Sort of like telling some eager 3rd graders they can't do the performance they've been working on for the last couple of months. I'm probably just trying to give my inner 3rd grader a chance to get over her stage fright.
Hi Gretchen,
My names Kathy and I've got a question for you. I had chosen one of your book covers as my default (actually, I like both of them). Then I got an idea about adding some of my computer graphics to the covers so there could be variations for different books.

But I wanted to ask you permission before I brought anything online. I worked up a MS DOC file showing some of the image variations to give you an idea what I had in mind. So I was wondering if you had an email address you minded giving me so I could attach the file to an email I send you.

If you don't want you're email address visible to all, you can go to my profile --
http://www.librarything.com/profile/Kgar...
-- and get my email address from there, then send me an email, so I could return one to you.

Have I sufficiently confused you yet? Because I could keep on babbling for awhile until you don't know inside from sideways.

Yours,
Kgarts
