About meI am a 30 year old woman stuck in the midwest trying to make the best of it. By day, I work in a domestic violence shelter as the legal advocate for our clients. By night, I can be found on stages throughout Northwest Indiana playing characters from Little Red Riding Hood in "Into the Woods" to Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme in Sonheim's "Assassins". I love to escape the mundane with either a good book, a great script, or through my crafts which have become quite an obsession. I knit, cross stitch, make my own clothes, paint, and will try anything I can get my hands on. I also love to cook and love exploring new recipes. I've always been told I'm an 'old soul' and the Gypsy in my soul agrees. I hope to travel someday to see the world, and capture as many experiences as I can.
About my libraryJust getting started here, but I have quite the eclectic mix (I'm sure everyone says that). But I enjoy everything from New Age Hippie culture stories, poetry, religious debates, heavy drama, non-fiction, crime, gothic graphic novels, cookbooks, craft how-to's, to the classics.
