I'm surprised that you don't appear to have the Helliconia books by Aldiss. It was Jeff who got me reading those, courtesy of Ancipital. I recently re-acquired them via abebooks.co.uk. No idea what happened to my original copies. I'm visiting my parents on Sunday. I'll see what I can find of my dad's SF horde. A bookshelf full of classic '60s SF. That's where I got my love of Ballard from.
