About meI love to read, travel, and climb mountains - amongst many other things. I rediscover this site every so often, and feel a strong sense of community with all the other readers who have chosen to share their libraries here. What a fantastic concept...!

About my libraryNot surprisingly, my (permanent) collection consists mainly of books related to climbing and travel. Lots of other books cross my path, I always have a book in progress, but they don't all earn a permanent place on my shelves. My tastes are fairly broad, and I like to "experiment" with new authors, but when all else fails, an exciting narrative about near-death experiences on Himalayan climbs never fails to keep me up all night...

Noticed you liked Lovely Bones, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here, as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it also contains a young female narrator struggling with a series of tragic circumstances. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more about the book before you commit:

Thanks,

Glad you're here. I've been desolated. Scheduling w/ my kids is going to keep me from spending a week in Fairy Meadows Hut with my buddies this year. And two are climbing Assiniboine with Abby Watkins, one of our mentor/guides.
