I note that (currently) only you and I share the delights and the recipes of Cross Creek. That might change as I posted a review of this great cookbook (and more).
hope you have managed to enjoy some of her dishes, as I have - even without our own personal jersey-Cream producing cow!

You might say so, yes . . . Martha Campbell Carson was my great-grandmother, and her daughter, my father's mother, was a Hood alumna (class of 1920). I never knew Martha--she died three years before I was born--but there were tales of "Bammy" in my family.
