The Shining was quite great, I can't say I've read Salem's Lot though. It's been one of those books I've been meaning to get to.
But I definitely recommend reading It whenever you get a chance.
I think I'm going to have to go with either It or the Shining.
What about yourself?
I'm re-reading The Giver right now, as I wait for The Shadow of the Wind to come in. :)
Really what u won?
I got Dreaming in French. well I wish it would come

LET ME BORROW THE THIRTEEN TALE
hey im so glad that this book club is really happening! =)

We could even have tea and cookies! Just like the women in the Victorian Era!! Which is one era i would have like to live in despite the society being so constricted on women.
I've treid and Idk why she hasnt made one yet. guess we haave to sit with her, and MAKE sure she does it. lol
I almost hate that it's so long because it's taking me so long to get to the end! :p
lol awwwww.

yeah me too, ur the only friend I have on here. You need to show me how to get into those chatrooms.
lol im still new around here! ^^
What was the book for book club again? Ima try and find it again
ohhh man! Thats lame! Why didnt you just cut the deal off? I hate when ppl do that sort of bs. hmm ok thanks dearie! =)
BLAH, I need a new book to read. I have no idea what to read. im planning on going to the public library soon and discover new books. Too bad I have fines tho. I turned the book on time and they said i never turned it in.... and want 15 buckss that I dnt have.
SO guess what? I read the Sherlock Holmes story about A Scandal in Bohemia, I like it! =)
hmm.
I don't exactly remember the ending, but let me know when you get there. I'm pretty sure I remember it being not so stupid.
Well my Uglies book had the first chapter of the next book, and in the beginning she is friends with Paris and all.
But it's disappointing either way.

Yeah, the characters are pretty stupid in Breathing Underwater but as you go into it more you get much more insight as to why everything happens, you know.
Yeah, main characters seem to suck lately, don't they?
haha, btw I couldn't help myself, I read what happens.
And I must say, I am thoroughly disappointed.
loll I wanted to watch that movie cuz it seemed witty and cute. PLUS all the A list actress involved in the movie.
is that how the movie was based off?

haha i love those kinds of books
lol
sorry
=)
I dnt think she does meet up with Peris again.. my knowlegde of that is certain.. but i can be wrong. lol and does Tally bang anyone? hmmmm... in the book they did talk about Bubblies having serious relationships like in the gardens *wink wink* but I dnt think she banged Zane. As for David... its was kinda hard trying a relationship saving the world and all that. Plus in the very end, Tally dedicated her life to fix their world, therefore forfeiting love with David.
well Tally get capture and is turned into a pretty, she doesn't remember anything cuz of the 'bubbly' side effects. eventually she forgets David and meets a new guy(Zane) who is also bubbly. David and the 'rusties' crashes a party and Tally finds a note she wrote to herself to explain things to her new bubbly self. Tally and Zane both took the two pills that was left with the note. soon they see how everything is warp( btw, Zane dies. Apparently those pills they took well, one was to destroy the microchip that brainwashes and the other to stop the first pill from destroying the rests of the brain...Zane got the one that destroys and Tally just got the dud. She broke out of the chip on her own.) and blah blah blah they run away to the wilderness and help to take out the Special Circumstance and the whole brainwash nonsense. AGAIN Tally gets caught by the Specials.END OF SECOND BOOK) Tally gets turned into a Special with Shay and this time, Tally has been made to program to hunt down David and the rest of the people she was helping. She breaks out of the brainwash and fuck my memory from the story ends there. lol Ill let ya know when I remember. =P
Unfortunately, I do not!

I borrowed it from the library for like, a million years and just recently gave it back... lmao.
haha, I'm debating whether or not to tell you to let me know what happens.
we'll see.
I wish you could have read Fushigi Yuugi. its an manga but its soo good. Like its a story about this gil who gets pulled into the story she was reading and a lot of stuff happens.
man, inkspell is like it but i gatta say this story is better.
well it wasnt a very good movie anyways. lol
is that the French film you told me about?
ahhhh a great female author!! RIGHT ON! you know what I like? the women authors who penned under men name just cause there was discrimination against women writing books. but i also am disappointed that they did that.
I like movies where you have to guess what is real or not. Have you seen Hide and Seek with Robert De Niro and Dakota FAnning?

LMAO
I was like " its him!! no... wait, i think hes real... ITS THE NEIGHBOR!! nooo the lil girls insane! SHE's CHARLIE......( at the end of the movie) I totally KNEW it was him...

hahahaha
P.s. no I havent read any of her works? what she write? mystery?
yeah man, it replaces the tomato soup! =) haha

The reason for not being in book club: yearbook and newspaper. They keep me so busy and tied up I didnt even join any clubs this year. I had to give up Link Crew,Foreign Language,R.E.A.C.H.. =/

yeah plus its my senior year, like I have to restrict what I do... and these clubs tend to conflict with each others scheduling.

yeah! Its like how you spotted that movie 'A Beautiful Mind' damm u are sharp!
Honestly i dont know my problem with him... lol
but I def will try again and read it.

plus its been three years since I attempted, who knows my taste could have changed. I use to dispise ketchup, now i have it with fries, burgers, hotdogs and grilled cheese. =)
hahah omg really?????!!! DAM UM

Are they games awesome?? worth the money? lol

yeah I dnt know why but I dnt have the taste for Sherlock. I have a little book with pieces of different books but I put it away till my taste changes as I age. lol I give all books a chance unless a total crackhead wrote it and it just goddamn awful.
haha from what I remember? Ill save you the details and just tell you some time.
yeah, the realm thing was pretty overdone. But but it paints such a good image in your head as you read and symbolizes the purity of childhood fantasies.
hahah I remember reading all afternoon Nancy Drew. I saw a computer game with a Nancy Drew Title and I totally want to get it. Target: %19.99 =D heh
Mystery books and horror once are just so thrilling. I can never put it down!
Oh yeah, my comprehension level is pretty up there and I get really annoyed with books who are so frigging easy to read, its like it doesn't have a soul...like transparent but I stuck to the story just cause it did sound interesting and I gave it another chance and then by then I was hooked cuz I grew attached to the characters and I wanted to see the outcome of their future. It was also about you know, how the world would be (sci-fi of course) and it makes you wonder how things would be... I did like the idea of free surgery tho haha and the rail surfing. =D
No, mine has 12 stories in it, I think. It probably just has a different collection than yours does.
Agatha is pretty good though, it's just very old fashioned.
& The Giver is set in this different, future society where everyone is the same, or something of the sort. It's based on this boy that learns all the secrets of the society. I don't know, it may have been about 5 or 6 years since I have read it, but I remember enjoying it.
Haha, okay, 15 is a bit of an exaggeration. But 10, I wouldn't doubt it.
& I'm planning on rereading The Giver.
Haha, my sister loves Agatha, so I got into her and I have probably read at least 10 or 15 of her books. ha.
& I used to love Nancy Drew. :p

The Giver I read a long long time ago, but I remember it being a great book. The Stephen King books I read a long time ago, too, but if you like one, you'll like the others as well.
I have no idea.
Probably not anyone we know, ha.
Hey!
