About meI am 51 years old and am married to a wonderful man and we have a 19 year old daughter. We will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary this March. We have a 2 year old Yorkie named Herbie. He is a service dog and alerts me as to when I am going to have a seizure. He is the love of our family and a true blessing!!
About my libraryI have over 800 hardcover books and as you can guess I'm out of room! I just recently bought a Kindle. I have over 200 books downloaded onto it. I read mostly fiction but love all books. Some of my favorite authors are John Case, Jeff Lindsay, Tami Hoag, Greg Iles, Nora Roberts just to name a few. Since I have bought my Kindle I am reading an average of about 2 books a week. I love to read!!!

Congrats on your 25th Anniversary! I just celebrated my 10th a few months ago. I hope you have fun at the Bed and Breakfast.
My grandparents were really into genealogy and they told me I am related to Davy Crockett! Might explain why I wish I could go live in a cabin in the woods. :)

I am doing just fine, been very busy with work, and reading of course. :)
Sorry to hear about the proton treatments, where are you being treated at? I used to be an x-ray tech , I did regular x-rays and the last couple years I worked in the field I did Cat Scans, but while I was in school we rotated through the radiation treatment part of the hospital just so we could see how that all worked and to see if we were interested in doing that.
Now I am a programmer, I liked some of the hospital work but wanted to do something where I created stuff and programming seemed like a good idea, at the time it did anyway.
I keep sending positive energy your way and hope that everything works out for you!

I have never read anything by James Patterson, but I might! Yeah I really like Anne Rice's stuff but now she is writing religious books and I am not interested in that. If you like Anne Rice you may like Laurrel K. Hamilton's Anita Blake series, although it is a very different style. I need to put more of my books in my library, I actually ordered one of those little scanners. I figure I will scan all the ISBN codes into a text file and then upload that to LT.
I have noticed a LOT of books that are out for the Kindle are "coming soon" , if you sort the amazon kindle book list by publication date you will see what I mean. I think they are maybe doing that to make the number of books larger. That is ok as long as they all do come soon. :)
