About meIn all honesty, there isn't all that much to say. I like to think I'm your average, run of the mill Gay Geek, though in all honesty, I'm probably a wee-bit different. I'm from the UK - specifically the West Midlands, and I'm in my Mid 20s.

Unfortunately I'm not as big a reader as I should be - Where as before I could easily get through 2 - 3 books per week, at the moment I'm only reading, on average, one book per month. Rather than blame myself for this predicament, I lay the blame totally at my computer and specifically the nice shiny fibre optic connection in the back of it, that keeps me almost constantly connected to the internet, and thus, sucks away my reading time.

About my libraryOver the last Six months or so, I've made a concious effort to get rid of the books that I either knew I wasn't going to read, or that I'd read, and had no real desire to return to. If I had to guesstimate, I'd say I've sold / donated to charity shops, around 500 books, and so my collection has been thinned down to either the books that I really like, or the ones that I'm determined to eventually read.

In terms of my favourite authors, I've got quite a few, though for my money, Michael Connelly is one of the best out there - his Harry Bosch books really are (for the most part) excellent, and at the time of writing this, I'm eagerly anticipating his forthcoming book, Nine Dragons, which is due for publication in October 2009.

In terms of the books that are listed here on the site - what I'm doing is adding them in order - most specifically, how close they are to my computer. The first batch of books will be the ones in my "main" bookcase - after that, it will be the books in my utility room / mini-library, then the bookcase in my bedroom, then finally the books that are in storage.

I'm honestly not sure when I'll have everything catalogued, though I'm hoping it won't take me all that long :)
